Irish Schools Championship (Mid Leinster)

Scoil Chríost Rí and Loreto Kilkenny won the Schools Senior & Junior Cups at the Mid Leinster Schools Qualifiers played at Callan Golf Club in glorious sunshine, Friday 12 April.
54 girls played in the Qualifying competition and 20 beginner girls played in the 12 hole competition. This is a new competition for 36 handicappers and it proved to be very popular. Afterwards two of our High Performance players - Mary Doyle from The Heath and Arianna Coyle Diez from Elm Park gave generously of their time to talk to the girls about their schedule and work practice while giving a display of putting on the practice green.
