Amy Farrell returned to the 2012 Leinster Championships this year determined to win following her runner up position last year. Amy the leading qualifier and winner of the Josephine Connolly Salver won on the 18th Hole over Sarah Cunninghan (Ennis) in what was a thrilling match over a very testing and beautifully manicured Luttrellstown course, Sunday 29th July.

The leading qualifier in the Duggan Cup April Timothy (Roscommon) was also the winner in the Junior Championship with a win over Azmina Desmond (Hollywood Lakes).
